In a tense economic and social context, the toy market has pulled out of the game in 2015, recording an increase in business of 3.4% – largely thanks to brands – after rising 2% in 2014 and 0.6% in 2013, announced the French Federation of baby toy industries.
The occurrence of attacks in Paris on November 13 will not weighed on Christmas shopping … The Federation recalls that toy sales logically focus on the end of the year during the holiday season. The last quarter and represented 58.1% of expenditures, while sales in February – 37% of spending – rose 7%.
The year 2016 promises to carrier
The increase in the number of licenses (24% of sales, + 14%) and technology have pushed prices of toys. They averaged 16.24 euros, up 6.6% year on year.
